Competitions

1. Competition Period

The competition runs from 3 November 2025 to 16 November 2025 ("the Competition Period"). Entries received after this date will not be considered.

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to residents of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Eswatini (Swaziland), and Lesotho aged 18 years or older.
• Employees, directors, agents, and contractors of Legit (a division of Pepkor Speciality), their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

• To qualify for entry, customers must spend R1000 or more in a single transaction at any Legit store or online at www.legit.co.za during the Competition Period.
• Customers who make an in-store purchase must submit their details via the competition entry link provided in-store, including:
  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Contact Number
  • Instagram Handle
  • A clear photo of their till receipt as proof of purchase
• Each valid purchase of R1000 or more qualifies as one entry. Multiple entries are permitted if multiple qualifying purchases are made.

4. Prizes

• There are 100 Legit Summer Hampers to be won.
• The contents of each hamper are predetermined and not exchangeable for cash or any other items.
• Legit reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value should the original prize be unavailable.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be randomly selected after the closing date of the competition.
• Winners will be notified via the contact details provided on their entry form.
• Prizes will be sent to the Legit store selected by the winner for collection.
• Winners must present valid identification and proof of purchase when collecting their prize.

6. Prize Collection

• Prizes must be collected within two (2) weeks of the winner being notified.
• Any prize not collected within this period will be forfeited, and Legit reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Use of Personal Information

• By entering this competition, participants voluntarily provide their personal information and consent to Legit (a division of Pepkor Speciality) using this information for the purposes of:
  • Administering the competition; and
  • Marketing and promotional communications related to Legit products, services, and future campaigns.
• Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in Legit's communications.
• All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable regional data protection laws.

8. General Conditions

• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• Legit reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
• Legit and its affiliates accept no responsibility for any technical errors, lost entries, or incomplete submissions.
• The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• By entering, participants consent to their name, photograph, and/or social media handle being used for promotional purposes related to this competition, without additional compensation.
